Day 1 & 2: Chobe Savanna Lodge

Departing from Maun: Upon your arrival at Maun Airport, you will be met by a Desert & Delta Safaris representative, who will collect you for your charter flight to Kasane Airport. You will then be transferred by road to Kasane Immigration, where you will be transferred by boat to Chobe Savanna Lodge.

Departing from Victoria Falls: Upon your arrival at Victoria Falls Airport, you will be met by a Desert & Delta Safaris representative, who will collect you for your road transfer to Kasane Immigration and assist you onto your boat for your transfer to Chobe Savanna Lodge.

Departing from Kasane:  Upon your arrival at Kasane Airport, you will be met by a Desert & Delta Safaris representative, who will collect you for your road transfer to Kasane Immigration and assist you onto your boat for your transfer to Chobe Savanna Lodge. Enjoy a cruise along the famous Chobe River to Chobe Savanna Lodge.

Enjoy 2 nights at Chobe Savanna Lodge, located in the Eastern Caprivi on the banks of the Chobe River in Namibia, overlooking the Chobe National Park, on a fully inclusive basis. Chobe Savanna Lodge comprises of 12 luxury-thatched chalets, all with private decks, a combined bedroom / lounge area and en-suite bathrooms. All rooms are air conditioned, and have complimentary mini bars.

Take pleasure in 2 full days of morning and afternoon game activities, which include:

• Boat excursions by small highly maneuverable motorboats, ideal for close up encounters with large game along the rivers edge,
  
• Fishing,
  
• Depending on the time of year, guests are also offered the opportunity to take canoe excursions along the river or walking excursions on the Private Concession that makes up Savanna, and
  
• For those interested in learning more about the local Kuomboka and Barotseland communities that inhabit remote areas of the Chobe River, the lodge arranges small private excursions to witness real African life.

Day 3 & 4: Chobe Game Lodge

After breakfast, transfer by motorboat back to Kasane, where en route you will clear through Namibia border formalities, and be met by a Desert & Delta Safaris representative for your road transfer to Chobe Game Lodge. Enjoy 2 nights at Chobe Game Lodge in the Chobe National Park, overlooking the Chobe River, on a fully inclusive basis.

Chobe Game Lodge comprises of 46 rooms and 4 suites, each room is river facing with own private terrace. Each room is air-conditioned with overhead fans, has tea and coffee making facilities, as well as a complimentary mini bar and recently renovated en-suite bathrooms.

Meals are served on the covered terrace and there are two bars, one of which has a champion-size billiard table. In addition, there is a lounge, a well-equipped curio shop and a swimming pool.

Day 5 & 6: Savute Safari Lodge

This morning you will be transferred, by vehicle, to Kasane Airport where you will be assisted onto your charter flight to Savute Safari Lodge. Enjoy 2 nights at Savute Safari Lodge, situated on the banks of the now dry Savute channel, part of the dynamic Savute eco system renowned for its large concentration of Elephant and large Lion prides, on a fully inclusive basis.

Savute Safari Lodge comprises of 12 twin-bedded luxury wood, thatch and glass safari suites, ideal for the hot and dry conditions. Double volume suites with their spacious interior and large, glass sliding doors sets the lodge apart from typical safari accommodation. Large private viewing decks and en-suite facilities, with walk in showers combine to make Savute Safari Lodge an unforgettable experience.

Other facilities include a lounge, library and cocktail bar, which is situated in the exquisite thatch and timber main building, while in front there is a viewing deck ideal for watching game at the water hole. The lodge houses the dining room in a separate building, which can double up as a conference room sitting up to twenty delegates. The lodge also has a swimming pool on a raised wooden teak deck overlooking the channel, affording guests to watch game while swimming!

Day 7 & 8: Xugana Island Lodge

Today you will be transferred by road to Savute's airstrip for your charter flight to Xugana Island Lodge, an breathtaking journey to the heart of the Okavango Delta. Enjoy 2 nights at Xugana Island Lodge, situated in the Xugana Lagoon, part of Xugana private concession, which is widely accepted as being the most spectacular permanent water site in the entire Okavango Delta, on a fully inclusive basis.

Xugana Island Lodge comprises of 8 large raised reed and thatch chalets situated on the shaded fringe of the Island, each with a lagoon view through the lagoon-side vegetation. The recently refurbished chalets have twin beds, en-suite facilities, with walk in showers, overhead fans and a private deck.

Other facilities include an open boma (outdoor enclosure) and al fresco dining area facing out over the expanse of pristine water that makes up the permanent Delta. The lounge, bar and dining areas are set back under the fig and leadwood tree canopy in open sided thatched areas.  The swimming pool, located amongst the mature gardens located in the center of the island is a perfect place to relax.

Day 9: End of Tour

Terminating in Maun: After breakfast, you will be transferred by motorboat to Xugana Island Lodge's airstrip for your charter flight to Maun, for your onward arrangements.

Terminating in Victoria Falls: After breakfast, you will be transferred by motorboat to Xugana Island Lodge's airstrip for your charter flight to Kasane Airport, where a Desert & Delta Safaris representative will meet you for your road transfer to Victoria Falls Airport, for your onward arrangements.

Terminating in Kasane: After breakfast, you will be transferred by motorboat to Xugana Island Lodge's airstrip for your charter flight to Kasane Airport, for your onward arrangements.
