Days 1 & 2: Leroo La Tau, Makgadikgadi Pans National Park

Upon arrival at Maun or Kasane you will be met by a Desert and Delta
Safari representative who will assist you in your transfer from Kasane
airport to Leroo La Tau. Enjoy 2 nights at Xeroo, situated on 15m high
cliffs above the arid Boteti River, on an all inclusive basis. The main reception and lounge area of this Botswana accommodation are built on the
top of these cliffs. The raised vantage point ensures unsurpassed views of the desert wildlife. Spot leopard, impala, kudu or sometimes rarities like the white rhino.

Leroo La Tau accommodates 24 guests in luxurious en-suite chalets on individual raised wooden platforms. The main lounge and dining room area of this Botswana luxury lodge are made of wood and thatch. Guests can sit back and relax at the bar while listening to the wide variety of night sounds of the African bush. Lounge around the pool while appreciating the herds of zebra and wildebeest which are often seen around the lodge grounds and the waterhole.

The Makgadikgadi Pans National Park around Leroo La Tau covers about 4,900 square kilometres. Both dry season and wet season visits to this park are recommended in order to witness the dramatic appearance of the pans at their driest. Days 3 & 4: Xugana Island Lodge, Okavango Delta

Today you are transferred from Leroo La Tau to Xugana Island Lodge. Enjoy 2 nights at Xugana Island Lodge, situated in the Xugana Lagoon, part of Xugana private concession, on an all inclusive basis. This area is widely accepted as being the most spectacular permanent water site in the entire Okavango Delta.

Enjoy a delicious lunch and settle into your rooms of this Botswana lodge with en-suite facilities, showers, overhead fans and a private deck. Xugana Safari Lodge accommodates 16 guests in large raised reed and thatch chalets>, situated on the shaded fringe of the island. Each chalet has a beautiful view through the lagoon-side vegetation.

The lounge, bar and dining areas of Xugana Island Lodge in Botswana are set back under the Ebony and African Mangosteen tree canopy in open sided thatched structures. The swimming pool, located within the mature gardens in the centre of the island, is a perfect place to relax after an exciting game viewing day in the Okavango Delta.

Days 5 & 6: Camp Moremi, Okavango Delta

Today you have a 3 hour boat transfer from Xugana Island Lodge to Camp Moremi. This is an awesome game viewing experience and a very rare
form of transfer. You might have the possibility of seeing majestic African elephants crossing the Okavango River. Enjoy 2 nights at Camp Moremi, situated on the beautiful Xakanaxa Lagoon on the eastern side of the Okavango Delta, within the Moremi Game Reserve, on an all inclusive basis.

Camp Moremi in Botswana is based on both land and water based. Explore this wilderness paradise where the Okavango Delta meets the Kalahari. Enjoy frequent sightings of lion, leopard & cheetah and perfect bird watching opportunities. Shaded by giant ebony trees, the magnificent Moremi Tree Lodge is an elegant elevated thatch and timber structure, consisting of a main lounge, wildlife reference library, dining room and cocktail bar.

This Botswana accommodation in the Moremi National Park accommodates 22 guests in East African-style safari tents. They are situated on raised teak platforms with private adjacent facilities & viewing decks. Each tent is exquisitely furnished and offers you a wonderful Botswana hideaway.
