Days 1 & 2: Chobe Game Lodge – Chobe National ParkUpon arrival at Livingstone or Victoria Falls airport, you will be welcomed by a Desert & Delta representative and transferred by road to the renowned Chobe Game Lodge. Your safari guide will meet and brief you on aspects of the safari. You will spend the first 2 nights here of your Botswana all inclusive safari package.
Iconic Chobe Game Lodge enjoys a wonderful position on the Chobe River. Its facilities include a beautiful riverside boma (open-air enclosure), large swimming pool, stylish cigar bar and outdoor terrace overlooking the Chobe River. Guests also have access to a wildlife reference library, lounge and terrace.
Chobe Game Lodge has 46 rooms and is the only permanent structure in the park. Each room has a fan, en-suite bathroom with walk in shower and flush toilet, and tea / coffee making facilities available. The famous Chobe National Park is well known for its huge herds of Elephant and Buffalo. The Chobe River is a magnet for wildlife that gathers at the water’s edge to drink. A sunset cruise should not be missed for a memorable Botswana safari.

Days 3 & 4: Savute Safari Lodge – Chobe National ParkAfter an early breakfast, you will depart Chobe Game Lodge in your specially equipped safari Landrover, and head for the Savute region. A day is spent travelling through the park to Savute Safari Lodge.
Depending on the time of year, your guide may take another less travelled route via the Nogatsaa area. Lunch is enjoyed at a stop en-route in the shade of a large tree. For the journey a variety of refreshments like water, fruit juices, beer and wine also local brand spirits are kept chilled in a fridge on-board the safari vehicle. You will arrive at Savute Safari Lodge in the afternoon for 2 nights on your Botswana all inclusive safari package.
Accommodating just 24 guests, Savute Safari Lodge is an intimate retreat on the banks of the dry Savute channel. Guests are accommodated in cool thatched timber and glass suites with modern African decor. Each room has a fan, en-suite bathroom with walk in shower and flush toilet, tea / coffee making facilities available, combined sitting and bedroom area and private deck.
The lodge lounge, library and cocktail bar are housed in a beautiful thatch and timber building. There is a feature viewing deck, al fresco dining area and swimming pool – enjoy a dip while watching game at the waterhole on a magical Botswana safari. The Savute area is special due to its bull Elephant population and unique interaction of resident predator species. Other areas of note are the Savute Marsh and Gubatsa Hills.

Days 5 & 6: Camp Moremi – Moremi Game Reserve, Okavango DeltaAfter and early start and breakfast, you depart Savute Safari Lodge and travel in a south westerly direction journeying through the Mababe depression and into Moremi Game Reserve. You cross the famous Khwai River Bridge at North Gate. Your specially adapted safari vehicle carries director’s chairs, a table and hammocks for a relaxing lunch stop en-route.
Moremi Game Reserve is acclaimed for its dramatic scenery and abundant wildlife. During the journey you will experience an extended game drive on the way to Camp Moremi in the Xaxanaka area (pronounced Kakanaka). It is here that you will spend 2 nights as part of your thrilling all inclusive Okavango Delta safari.
Camp Moremi has 11 luxury safari tents with twin beds and wooden decks. Each tent has a fan, en-suite bathroom with walk in shower and flush toilet, and tea / coffee making facilities available.
An elevated main building contains the lounge, bar and dining area as well as wooden terraces overlooking beautiful Xaxanaka lagoon. The lodge also has a swimming pool, boma (outdoor enclosure), scenic viewing deck and curio shop. Delicious breakfasts and teas are served in the boma.
Xaxanaka is known to be one of the most visually stunning areas in the Moremi Game Reserve, and is located on the edge of permanent waters of the Okavango Delta. Guests will be delighted with the rich variety of plant and animal species resident here.

Days 7 & 8: Camp Okavango – Okavango DeltaYour safari vehicle remains in camp while you depart by boat into the heart of the magnificent Okavango Delta. This pristine eco-system is characterised by winding waterways and tranquil lagoons. Nxaragha Island deep in the Delta is the setting for Camp Okavango, your home for the next 2 nights on your all inclusive Okavango Delta safari.
Camp Okavango has 11 glass fronted safari tents on raised wooden decks. Each tent has twin beds, a fan and en-suite facilities with walk in shower and flush toilet, and tea / coffee making facilities available.
Central guest areas of the camp include the lounge, bar area and dining room - all of which lead out onto an open patio and alfresco lounge with fireplace. There is a reference library and curio shop and outdoors, an elevated viewing deck and refreshing swimming pool.
Explore this fascinating water wilderness and its incredible diversity. Experience the blissful silence and peace of the waterways and floodplains by boat with a guide or in a mokoro (traditional dug out canoe).

Days 9 & 10: Leroo La Tau – Makgadikgadi Pans National ParkBefore leaving the Delta enjoy a morning activity, followed by your scheduled charter flight over the Okavango to Leroo La Tau. This desert location is situated along the banks of the Boteti River on the western boundary of the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. It is here you will spend the last 2 nights of your Botswana all inclusive safari package.
Leroo La Tau stands majestically above a waterhole and the dry Boteti riverbed. There are 12 thatched chalets at this intimate lodge. Each chalet has a fan, en-suite bathroom with walk in shower and flush toilet, and tea / coffee making facilities available. Central guest areas include the dining room, reading room and bar or extensive wooden deck. A plunge pool is also available.
The Makgadikgadi Pans National Park has a population of around 30 000 Zebra and Wildebeest, which are closely watched by a variety of predators. This interaction offers exhilarating experiences for guests here on a Botswana safari.
